Entra ASA : New 10-year lease contract with Enova in Powerhouse Brattørkaia in Trondheim

Entra ASA : New 10-year lease contract with Enova in Powerhouse Brattørkaia in Trondheim

Enova has signed a new lease contract for 2,560 sqm in Powerhouse Brattørkaia, a

new office building under construction at Brattørkaia 17 A in Trondheim.

Powerhouse Brattørkaia will be an energy positive and environment friendly

office building of approximately 18,200 sqm, of which a 2,500 sqm parking

basement. Powerhouse Brattørkaia will utilise sun and sea water for heating and

cooling. The building will be covered by 3,500 sqm of solar panels and thus

produce around 500,000 kWh of renewable energy annually. This is more than twice

as much as the building consumes for heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting.

It means that the building has a positive energy balance in its lifetime also

when all the energy that goes into building processes, materials and finally

demolition is included. The project is aiming for the environmental

classification BREEAM-NOR Outstanding and Energy class A.

Entra and Enova share a strong commitment towards combatting climate changes and

Enova is an important advisor and partner for Entra in this respect. Powerhouse

Brattørkaia is a pioneer project in terms of technology, energy efficiency and

production of green energy and we look forward to welcome Enova to this

ambitious and innovative office building says Entra CEO Arve Regland in a

comment.

Powerhouse Brattørkaia will be finalised in March 2019 and is now 64 % pre-let.
