Perpetual Limited: funds under management
25 January 2012
Perpetual Limited (Perpetual) today announced that its funds under management as at 31 December 2011 were $22.9 billion. Funds under management (FUM) as at 30 September 2011 were $23.5 billion.
The change in FUM over the three months was mainly attributable to:

around $900 million of net fund outflows, with around $800 million from the Equities asset class, of which around 50% comprised institutional outflows - predominantly from the concentrated equity strategy; offset by
-
an increase of around $400 million due to the increase in equity markets over the period, offset by a decrease of around $100 million due to distributions.
FUM and flows by channel and asset class for the quarter October – December 2011 are detailed in the following table.
