We raised $500K to index the world's public filings.

FinancialReports has closed a $500,000 pre-seed round from angel investors — operators and industry experts who build, buy, and use financial data — including a scout from Andreessen Horowitz's scout program. The capital funds deeper coverage, faster ingestion, and standardised fundamentals across every G20 market.

Press release

Singapore — . FinancialReports, the data layer for public-company filings, has raised a $500,000 pre-seed round from angel investors — operators and industry experts who build, buy, and use financial data — including a scout from Andreessen Horowitz's scout program. Most of the angels are staying undisclosed at their request.

FinancialReports turns regulatory filings from hundreds of regulators into one canonical, machine-readable record per filing — clean Markdown and standardised financials, served by a typed REST and GraphQL API. The index today spans 29,221,772 filings across 57 markets and covers every G20 economy end-to-end.

The round funds three priorities: extending coverage past the G20 into the long tail of exchanges, shrinking the gap between a regulator publishing and a filing landing in the index, and standardising fundamentals — balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows — across the live coverage.

“Every public company on earth files disclosures, and almost none of it is machine-readable,” said Silas Hundhausen, founder of FinancialReports. “We are building the layer that fixes that — one clean, canonical record per filing, across every market. This round lets us go faster and wider.”

About FinancialReports. FINANCIALREPORTS PTE. LTD. is a Singapore-incorporated, EU-hosted data-infrastructure company building the machine-readable index of the world's public-company filings.

We raised from operators and founders close to the problem — plus a check written through Andreessen Horowitz's scout program. Most are staying anonymous at their request; here is what they have in common.

1.1 / Operators

Capital-markets insiders.

People who run research, data, and quant desks — and have felt the pain of unstructured filings firsthand.

1.2 / Builders

Data & fintech founders.

Founders and engineers who have shipped financial-data products and know what production-grade coverage actually demands.

1.3 / a16z scout program

An Andreessen Horowitz scout.

An angel check written through a16z's scout program — an early outside vote of confidence in the thesis.

This round is about depth and speed: more markets, faster ingestion, and standardised fundamentals on top of the filings we already index.

Now

Coverage, wider.

Extend past the G20 into the long tail of exchanges — Southeast Asia, the Gulf, LatAm, and sub-Saharan Africa.

Next

Ingestion, faster.

Shrink the gap between a regulator publishing and the filing landing in the index, with headroom for real-time firms.

Then

Fundamentals, standardised.

Normalised balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows on GAAP / IFRS across the live coverage.

The filings layer is live today — regulator-direct, normalised to Markdown, and served by a typed REST and GraphQL API.
