Press release
Singapore — . FinancialReports, the data layer for public-company filings, has raised a $500,000 pre-seed round from angel investors — operators and industry experts who build, buy, and use financial data — including a scout from Andreessen Horowitz's scout program. Most of the angels are staying undisclosed at their request.
FinancialReports turns regulatory filings from hundreds of regulators into one canonical, machine-readable record per filing — clean Markdown and standardised financials, served by a typed REST and GraphQL API. The index today spans 29,221,772 filings across 57 markets and covers every G20 economy end-to-end.
The round funds three priorities: extending coverage past the G20 into the long tail of exchanges, shrinking the gap between a regulator publishing and a filing landing in the index, and standardising fundamentals — balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows — across the live coverage.
“Every public company on earth files disclosures, and almost none of it is machine-readable,” said Silas Hundhausen, founder of FinancialReports. “We are building the layer that fixes that — one clean, canonical record per filing, across every market. This round lets us go faster and wider.”
