Santos appoints new General Counsel and Company Secretary

Mr James Baulderstone has joined Santos to take up the position of General Counsel and Company Secretary.

Mr Baulderstone, 40, is a lawyer with extensive global legal and commercial experience in the resources, manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors. He has worked both as a private practitioner and in corporate roles for ASX Top 50 Companies, principally in the areas of business development, mergers and acquisitions, and competition law.

Prior to joining Santos he has held a number of senior legal roles including Corporate Counsel with BlueScope Steel Limited and Chief Legal Officer with Mayne Group Limited.

Mr Baulderstone holds Honours Degrees in both Science and Law. He is also currently undertaking an MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management in Sydney.
